Description

Our journey commences in a tranquil mountain village close to Santiago del Teide. The path ahead, though steep, is car-free, perfect for conquering on a mountain e-bike. You'll breeze through this picturesque ascent, taking in the pristine surroundings of almond trees and various flowers and bushes. Soon, you'll encounter a unique sight—a place where the lava flows of the latest eruption in 1909 halted just shy of the village. In homage to this phenomenon, the locals have crafted chapels, each a testament to the miraculous power of nature. As you continue your adventure, the terrain evolves into a dynamic mix of gravel, small rocks, and rugged soil. Upon reaching the forest's edge, prepare for a more challenging incline. Your path now meanders amidst the towering Canary Island pine trees, offering a sense of immersion in this ecosystem. Venturing further, you'll pedal into an area of interesting lava formations from the last eruption in 1909. It's a powerful reminder of the Earth's transformative forces and a visual spectacle that's sure to leave you in awe. Our ride takes us through partially open terrain, unveiling breathtaking vistas that capture the essence Tenerife. Get ready to be captivated by the ever-changing landscapes that await you.
